After this adventurous drive, you will return to the lodge rest as you wait for lunch. After having lunch, you will prepare and leave Lake Mburo National Park and transfer Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park which is found approximately 300km from Lake Mburo National Park and it can take you something like 5-6 hours drive, dinner, and overnight will be at either Buhoma Community Bandas, Kitandara Camps, Buhoma Community Rest Camp or Gorilla Resort.
Day 3: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Mountain Gorilla Climbing a Tree in Bwindi Forest National Park
Wake up very early in the morning and prepare for today’s incredible experience, have breakfast, and drive to the national park headquarters with packed lunch for a briefing on the best way to act while with gorillas in the jungle. Tracking time goes between 2-9 hours depending on the movement of mountain gorillas in their search for food and shelter. The tracking goes through steep rocks, climbing and down through slippery and muddy jungle grounds, hence making it tiresome. However, the thrill of encountering these amazing apes erases the bad memories you experienced in trying to look for them in this thick jungle. You will stay with them for 1 hour for observation and photography and you will be free to ask the ranger any question and after one hour of watching these giant primates, you will descend back to your lodge for a rest.
If the evening is free when you still have some energy, you may go for an evening community walk in the nearby community of Batwa (Pygmies) where you will be entertained in some of the cultural dances by the local Batwa people. After you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
